I reckon cooking your porridge with the blueberries in it, is a sensational thing to do. The colour and flavour released in the cooking is awesome. Try it with a spoon of sugar while it’s cooking.
on cooked blueberries… there is something wildly amazing when you sweeten them a touch with maple syrup (of course, the real maple)… the two just do a tango together and work equally beautifully on oatmeal as they do yogurt… or vanilla ice cream for a quick a simple dessert…
Agreed! See my latest Blueberry banana muffins posting. It’s amazing how the bloobs release so much more flavour when baked, and I love how they keep the muffin really moist! And yes I will try sweetening with maple syrup next time I make them. Hope you are well lovely lady and do send me foodie shots of your delicious making if you want me to post them.
