Friday Nights challach makes great french toast on a Sunday!
I woke up this Sunday morning, amazed to see so much sunshine. London can be so beautiful when it wants to be.Inspired I cracked a few eggs and blended them with cinammon and honey and milk. Sleepily, powered by my first coffee, I dipped thick slices of challach into the eggy mix and left it there to soak. I melted butter in a big pan and filled it with the slices and let them sizzle till brown, flipped them and then threw them onto plates for Sacha and me. Maple and a handful of obligatory blueberries, and my coffee had a decadent companion.

I like to pour a bit of extra eggy mixture over hte challach as it’s cooking just to make sure it’s lush.
