So, I attended Taste of London in Regents Park tonight. I was not there more than 2 hours, yet I managed to sample about 15 different dishes in record time. This fruit carving was just about the only thing I didn’t eat…
I would say it’s a great event if it wasn’t so corporate in feel and if I wasn’t feeling a wee queezy from the mix of bizarro samples and odd drinks offered to me as I mooched about. I’ve uploaded a few images that I managed to snap before I fled for fear of belly overload. Oh, and at about £6 a tiny morsel tasting, it’s not really a bargain.

Here are Sacher Tortes being created by the Viennese Bakery Demel’s

The finished product came home with me for Sacha to sample…

Mmmm….. succulent chicken from the Mango Tree in Belgravia

Another amazing Fruit carving at the Thai Pavillion

And the best little doughnuts with mojito sorbet from Asia De Cuba. Right I’m stuffed! Outta here…
