Chorizo Mexicano

Hungry carnivores, blood-thirsty vampires listen up. Go no further than the superb Taqueria, the best little cafe in Notting Hill, London. You’re currently drooling over a  Mexicano, house made Mexican , diced onion, and coriander on 3 small tortillas, with a red salsa on the side. Superb! Oh, but there’s more. The Vampiro, the Carnitas, the Camarón al mojo de aj….Feeding a Mexican vampire

Camarón al mojo de ajo garlicky char-grilled prawns with chile chipotle, coriander, mash on 3 small tortillas. The prawns are super fresh and have a perfect chargrilliness.

Carnitas

Aguacate

Aguacate diced avocado, lime, salt, diced onion, coriander. The creamy, freshness of this side dish makes the meatfest  feel worthy. A must. The great thing about this place is, that they always find you a table, no matter how busy, making taqueria on of my favourite pitstops. Go eat.

Great Question Myrna and I am glad you asked. Yes you can make your own broth. To make your own vegetable broth you can chop up whole vaeeteblgs or you can use the unwanted parts of your vaeeteblgs (outside onion skin, ends of tomatoes, tops of peppers, end of the stalk of celery and or broccoli, ect). Bring your vaeeteblgs and water (enough to cover the vaeeteblgs) to a boil. Then reduce the heat and let simmer for an hour or slightly longer (the longer you let simmer the more flavors can be extracted). Then drain the soup and season to taste. You could even start of the broth with a chopped clove of garlic and some salt.
