Honestly, I’m no expert, but I do know fresh ingredients and food prepared with love. Little Saigon, on Victoria street in Richmond, is just another wee Vietnamese cafe amongst many. The interior’s plain, and it’s full of locals who do their best to keep this well kept secet under wraps- no pun intended…
So, I have this gorgeous girlfriend called Kristina. And every couple of years I pop up to Malmo Sweden via Coppenhagen to have a girly weekend with her. We eat, we talk, we play, we shop and we moan about another love lost. As soon as I arrive the first thing I do is pick up a ‘fransk korv med brod’, or basically a delicious fresh hot street hot dog, as these people do them best!
From way down under, Melbourne infact, our roving foodie, Heath Rudduck shares a delicious meal at Gattica. Personally, I love Carlisle St Melbourne, (even though it’s going the way of Brunswick St and Acland St), it has some amazing eating, and as is true of most of Melbourne the coffees are a conneseur’s dream!
“There are some things that were just meant to be. Like fresh home made vanilla ice cream and oozing, melting chocolate pudding. Look at it, sitting deliciously proud, amongst that smattering of berries like a veritable Nutters Knoll of indulgence. Gattica cafe in Melbourne.”
