Oh glory be – a hot day in London! Amazing how it transforms the city into a happy, chilled out place. Women in large sunglasses are adorned in floaty dresses that have waited patiently in wardrobes till now. They take to the streets, colorful and hip. I’ve sampled so many carrot cakes and my favorite was from Ottolenghi until I tasted the carrot cupcakes with coconut frosting at Lantana cafe in Soho. I realised it was time to bite the bullet and start grating those carrots. Read more…
