This Oreo cookie crust, peanut butter cheesecake, topped with chocolate ganache and miniature Reese’s peanut butter cups, is the ultimate death (or sex) by cake. The kind of thing that Elvis would eat? This over-the-top American dessert has been lovingly conjured by domestic Goddess in Amsterdam, Carla Madden. Warning! Not to be eaten alone, but rather, shared at a huge birthday or special occasion. Oh if only I was in the Dam to enjoy a slice of your genius Carla….
Princess Lottie made this gorgeous chocolate log filled with fresh cream and served sprinkled with raspberries. And just because Waynsee likes them we had dragon fruit halves served on the side. It was spectacular! If we hadn’t eaten so much before I’d have had another slice! See the recipe and make it! Yummy!
Ahhh…reminiscing I am, over Princess Lotties superb Christmas 3 bird roast, aptly named a ‘Partpheasen’, being a partridge in a pheasant in a chook, with layers of a superb sausage stuffing. All accompanied by perfect roast vegetables.

Low and behold, Bill Granger delivered with a recipe fit for this balmy night… Read more…

These are seriously wicked, moist, lush brownies that you have to make once before you die. I used Green and Blacks Organic 70% dark chocolate, dried sour cherries, and roughly chopped brazil nuts to get maximum intensity.
A couple of years ago, Lottie made a wonderful Pav and brought it to Sacha’s picnic birthday in Hyde Park. Everyone adored it. We photographed it and it lives here on the belly. But it was time to take the bull by the horns, interrogate her and get down to making my own. Lo and behold a Pav truly is as easy as Lottie says. I love the chewy soft foundation piled high with fresh cream and a ton of any fruit you so desire. I’ve got my hands on Lotties recipe, so read on! Read more…
Hurrah! It’s a warm Saturday, so I hop on the train to Bath Spa to steam and soak in the thermal waters which gives me the mighty appetite. A proper English tea with scones and cream is in order. The Pump Room in the old Roman Baths is the place to go.
